Buying/Importing a Boat from Canada to USA

Hopefully this hasn't been asked & answered too often, but...
If I buy a boat in Canada, what's the process (links would be helpful)? And what am I obliged for as far as taxes, etc. both there & here?
Ah, & for the moment, the prospects are in; ON, & NS (plus, possibly, BC).

Plus, if there's anything important, details wise, with the process, I'd surely appreciate it, if you'd kindly fill me in on as much (again, links & pointers are always helpful). Such as, for example, I know that some of the tax rules vary from province to province, as they do from one state to another here. Though as they say, the devil is in the details

Thanks, & I hope that everyone's week gets off to a good start!

It would surprise me if there were any taxes. Sold my last boat to an American and I can't recall that being an issue. The last time our dollar dropped so low you guys came up here and bought a huge number of light aircraft so maybe this time it might be boats. I could see some of the fresh water boats back east being kinda interesting. Let us know how your search goes and good luck!
