sailing great britain offshore waters thames wave heights + 36 utc
That I am aware of.. and the Elbe can be a bitch in wind over tide.. but been thinking.. Helgoland is a quick beam reach 50mile dash and with todays winds should be a decent sail.. and it'll give me a feel of how she is in a sea... only sailed her in a lake so far..
Bonus.. there's fuel to hand not a taxi ride.. there's chandlers for my needs.. running backstays could do with redoing and if the wiring falls apart again.. (nav light wires fell out coming down the Kanal).. ahhhh... teething troubles..
Oh.. and I'll be away from the strongest tides in that area...

Maybe not.. just had an update on the weather.. 27kts this avo round Heligoland.. no big deal normally but with the uncertainty with certain aspects of the boat.. am staying put till this passes.. and at 10euro a day for a 64ftr.. its not costing the owner a bomb..

Ahahahahhahaaaa... tell me bout it.. no place to run.. no place to hide in a lot of the area.. bit like the Biscay used to be 40yrs ago before all the marinas started appearing courtesy of UK's outrageous EU payouts..
Have a good flight mate...

You must be a glass half full kinda guy Phil. When I compare weather reports I always defer to the worst one, not the best!
