They seem to have made great time through the canal. Any bets he beats the weather through the Straights of Dover?

I will find some fish heads at Meva gutting hall tomorrow and pop some Fal oysters left over from the festival in their for good measure, it should be well fermented and ready for your return !

Agreed. Concerned parties have been good nurtured about it, but I imagine it's a bit thin by now.

looks like he is sat on the dock at the western end of the canal for the forseable future,untill gonzalo passes the uk........or at least till Monday.

about 450miles to dover from where he is,and he is a bit limited by draught as to marinas on the north and west coasts that he can go into on the run south.

he might be able to make euro port in Holland but risky with an onshore wind before the gales start
