Re: Boatman's Latest Adventure

bummer...but sometimes these things happen for a reason.....somebody up there doesn't want you to sail on a Friday!.......and is looking after you.

mean while back at the office,we had a successful launch, got the boat sorted and provisioned, agent is arranging our check out ,so leaving early hours Saturday for tioman island, malaysia, weather looks good with southerlies.

Pity. You'd miss these palm trees featured here.

PS- they are at 54.816072N 8.470573W

And the village is quite proud of them.

Re: Boatman's Latest Adventure

Glad to hear that you are safe and well my friend
It was always going to a bit of a gamble with weather and for once the weather gods must have wanted to give you a small nudge in the ribs and saying "no yet Boatie, wait awhile"

Gives a new slant on the old saw that ports rot ship and sailors!
