Chakana getsmy vote but then again I'm still dead set about naming a boat "Nervous Wreck" for both the sunken ship aspect and for the fact that I'm jumpy and paranoid

I have to agree with Daddle, i.e. : Why would you care what we think?** And you're talking about a Catalina 25, about as plain Jane as plastic boats get. I'd name it CharleyAnna. That would be a cool change.

Now, what about the Searunner 31? There's a Chakana. Tho I think I'd take Del's suggestion about Inca Cross.

You own both these boats and live in Kentucky? Or is it pronounced Kon Tiki?

What's the deal?

Re: Boat Name Poll--2 choices

Oh my goodnes--you guys have me cracking up this morning!!

Chakana it will be!!!
I didn't realize how lame/common Cool Change is.

We bought the Catalina for trailer sailing around here, and for racing in our club, and for learning......while finishing up the Searunner (and saving money) which is going to take a couple of years.

Thanks to everyone for your opinions--advise--observations.

Re: Boat Name Poll--2 choices

Charley and Anna, as you move up in size you can keep the name Chakana by adding I, II and III as you progress. Good decision.
