Actually, the switch does not see much current, thing that the PO probably knew and, I guess, tought of fixing it properly the next time it breaks.

I live in Florida, so it's ...

1) no wind AND

2) noon time sun AND

3) no bimini.

Oh yeah. Throw in that it's a race, and you see friends all around the bay stuck in different places.

Oh yeah. The motor (I was on someone else's boat) wouldn't start.

Wheeeeeee.

I don't mind "too much wind" if it's reefable.

I have not had that experience. I don't twist and tape either.

I was just curious.
