Bertha and Bermuda

Do we have any friends in Bermuda? It looks like Bertha will make it to hurricane level and Bermuda is in the proposed path. Northeast quadrant no less. Tropical Storm BERTHA

Take care of your boat and then forget it. Your family is what is truly important.

Bermuda is watching Bertha, I guarantee it!

The official forecast is right at BDA, although there's some spread in the model forecasts. And, the NHC expects Bertha to slow down in a few days, as the steering currents weaken, meaning she could deviate quite a bit from the current forecast.

It will be interesting to see what Bertha has up her sleeve. I noticed this bit.

"GIVEN THE WEAK
STEERING CURRENTS AND LACK OF A HIGH-AMPLITUDE TROUGH OVER THE
WESTERN ATLANTIC DURING THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS...IT IS STILL NOT
GUARANTEED THAT BERTHA WILL RECURVE.
