I was wondering what the weather
and sea state was like in the Bahamas
Islands during this current
episode of harsh weather
the eastern part of the US is having.
I noticed that on the Caribwx website that the swells for the Virgin Islands
were "down" to 6 feet from the NNW to N and were forecast
to increase to 9 feet.
This would seem to make any normally sheldered anachorages a bit lumpy.
Are the normally Easterly trades interacting with this swell to create some interesting sailing conditions?
