B1/B2 visa

Hi,

I have a valid B1/B2 visa (I am German) and need to fly to Ft. Lauderdale for a day to pick up some parts ...

I looked if this would fall under B1 or B2 ... Obviously B2 if I look at Visitor Visa

But than I found something else there. Under "Travel Purposes Not Permitted On Visitor Visas:" it says: "arrival as a crewmember on a ship or aircraft".

I applied for the B1/B2 visa just for this purpose - going with a private sailboat into the US ...

I would think that applies to paid "professional" crew, not to private pleasure-craft crew.
