Life's log entry from today..."If we're going to do this, we're going to do it now while I still can..." Spoken by my bride... who has incidently done this before.....

Yes of course the same bride who has made previous log entries such as " I hate this boat..."; "no way can we do this.." ; "we can't possible go now that we have (our granddaughter)...."

Now my job is to move quickly enough to get the refit done and cast off... Where the heck did I put that refit work list??

We've been about 180 degrees out of sync for the past few years.. first she's raring to go & I'm not, then me not her, then buy the boat, then definitely NOT her, then the kid arrives, then I give up the dream, then she picks it up again....

Of course I'm sure no one on this forum has been through anything similar...

Scary excited all at once.... let the (postponed) adventure begin!

I was pretty bummed out when you had posted that you wouldn't be able to do it a few months back. Seemed you were getting somewhere on the refit list too.

I'm almost feeling as happy as you are reading that news. Best of luck, and we're all here waiting for any refit issues that will crop up.
