Re: At The Risk of Starting WWlll

So strange about your problems downloading....I have used Wolfson on past projects and most of the design team use Apple (l don't)

If you have a multi.... worth finding a way to download the 2 part report.

Apparently monos litter the ocean floors around the world. In all the videos I've watched I have yet to see a multi at the bottom of the ocean. They all seam to be floating around on the surface. Maybe multies only sink in waters too deep to film in.

Looks like monos have sunk out of sight and the multis have won the war!

did a race around the islands out of San Francisco a few years ago where a very expensive multi fliped over on the other side of the islands, rescuded the guys off the boat but left the boat to the ocean.. Odd that the current carried it for a few months to east asia where it was turned right side up and at last seen, was being used for a fishing boat..
so yes, there is a use for old multi hulls, even if its for the use of fishing platforms.. they make great docks also..

It appears to me that it's simply just more important to multihullers to prove their vessel's worth whereas monohullers are just inherently more comfortable with their choice.

Re: At The Risk of Starting WWlll

I only know one major difference between a cat and a mono hull and that is they have a lot more stability than a mono hull where they are on their back

And the mono has the most stability lying on the bottom. Game, set match!

I would suggest the same could be said for a multihull as well. You called too early.

Coops.
