We have a website for SeaLife OurLifeAtSea.com but Nicolle is very slack, lazy and unambitious about updating it as she is too busy cruising, sunbaking, snorkelling and cuddling various critters on land and in the water.

Thanks again for that suggestion, I think it was an excellent idea!
Yeah, that's a good start. It gets them grouped, but basically I was thinking you'd have a page with links by boat make, model, year, then a page with project type (like I said before, radar installation, engine rebuild, etc.). This second page would link to the same pages as the first one, just grouped a different way.

So, a page called My Albin 29 restoration Page might show up on all three pages in multiple places - like this:

View links organized by:

Page 1: By boat make/model/year
Page 2: By project type
Page 3: By component manufacturer

When they click on one of the above, they would go to one of the following pages:

Page 1: By boat make/model/year
Alberg 38 1977 -
Albin 29 1992 - My Albin 29 restoration Page
Cal 28 1984 -

Page 2: By project type
Chart Plotter Installation - My Albin 29 restoration Page
Engine Swap -
Oscillation Overthruster Calibration -
Radar Installation - My Albin 29 restoration Page
Stove re-wire -
Thru-hull replacement - My Albin 29 restoration Page

Page 3: By component manufacturer
Perkins -
Raymarine Radar - My Albin 29 restoration Page
Raymarine Chart Plotter - My Albin 29 restoration Page
Sani-Flush -
Yoyodyne Propulsion Systems -

So, now you see why I said it'd be a lot of work.

Dan - Yes that would be alot of work. I think I may stick to what I have going at the moment but I will keep that in the back of mind for future improvements. It really is a good idea.

Roy - I added a link to your page about the refer. Pretty nice, thanks for suggesting it.

Cacique - The link you provided was to your e-mail address, I couldnt find the charter website.

Thanks again everyone.

Not specifically about our boat (Alberg 37), but the website for A-37 owners which we maintain. Lots of cruising, maintenance and project 'stuff' along with lots of photos, etc. Feel free to create a link to it.....

Hi Perithead
Yeah I said my marketing was rubbish, how can anyone go to my site if I give the wrong addresss? Please note there is no www.
Here is the address:- You will have to remove the two spaces and replace the word dot with a . (This is to hopefully foil the robotic spammers )

This idea of everyone putting their web address is a really BAD idea, since I have found out about it I'v been on several sites and haven't had the time to go in the forum. Plus everones site is at least 10 times better and more proffesional than mine (Music, vids, links etc).
PS I'm liking Peritheads site.

Mark - I just browsed your site and saw the November pics. Wow - what a flashback. As a kid I lived in Lovett Bay. Ku-ring-gai Chase was my stomping grounds. Explored all over those waters in our 18 foot sailboat and 10 foot dinghy. Beautiful place.

Westsail42 - It looks like I have already found your website and linked to it on the page. I'm pretty sure I added it on the first day that I was creating the page. I think I found it when I was just looking through hundreds of webpages in the google search engine. Its a great site, I really like it. How about a link exchange?

Cacque - I replied to you VIA PM

tomj - I will add you website soon, thanks for the link

On my website, you can find drawings on how to construct and install parachute sea anchor chainplates in the deck and bows of a catamaran.

Check out this link: STROM MANAGEMENT FOR CRUISERS

Scroll halfway through the article to see pictures of the sea anchor chainplates, and near the bottom of the page you can see a schematic drawing of their construction and installation.

Maxing Out - I have been to your website before, I found it when I was surfing the search engines. Its pretty nice and has alot of good info. I wonder if you would consider making a seperate webpage about the project?
I am trying to make the links that I put on my website take the viewer directly to the project. I am afraid if I add that link they will go to it and not find what they are looking for easily and then that would possible make my site not look as good to them, it would sort of be like the viewer loosing trust in me. Do you see what I am saying? I am not putting down your page at all, just that I would preffer to have links that go directly to a project. I hope you understand what I mean, its fairly hard to explain.
So would you consider making a seperate webpage for it?

Wow. I checked back on your site. Noticed you categorized the links! Cool. I'll keep it bookmarked and send you links as I find them.

Website for your boat

I have published a site for our boat to help build and maintain an identity for this model. We have a Ron Holland 43 sailboat, designed in the mid 80s and built to order until 1991. They were built in Taiwan at Ta Chaio.

As far as I know there were only 13 built, ours is hull #11.

We have located 6 of these fantastic boats and continue to look for the rest of the fleet.

The site will also be a place for those interested to see what's up.

i have added Google's AdSense ads to see if that might be a way for us to generate a little cash for the kitty.

Check it out.

Great photos Tim.

Is Wren by chance related to Roger Herring?
