Anyone from Texas feeling generous?

Hello my fellow Texicans,

My name is Carter and I am a novice sailor with little to no experience. I am looking for someone who would be willing to sit down and talk to me a little about sailing and to talk about some of the things they wish they would've known when starting out. Or take me out with you one day.

I am willing to make a trade per say. I will work cleaning your boat, or house, or ill even do your laundry for some help and guidance.

So in other words I am looking for a "mentor" to teach me things.....

I guarantee you probably know 10000 times more than me about sailing and boats, even if you feel like you do not. If you are a day sailor with a 20' boat, or a seasoned cruiser with 50'+ I do not discriminate. I don't want to beg, but I am begging you to consider helping me out.

If you want to know a little more about me, my goals, and my situation here's a link to a previous thread I posted that really provides a window to see where I am in life and sailing. If its not in the thread PM me and ask on there or I can give you my cell number. Quarter Life Crisis - Page 4 - Cruisers & Sailing Forums

Thanks & Fair Winds!

P.S. If you're not interested, do you know someone who would be? I am willing and eager to learn!
