Nope. My motors stay attached to my body. I made the trip yesterday and as expected it was very calm. I only sailed for about an hour and the wind went flat. I did bring my oars out of the dinghy before I left, just in case.

I like the way the motor makes the stern squat and throw out the big wake when towing the dink! It's pretty!
