No luck - seems sailing with 1 beer left is too too dangerous.

perhaps being three sheets to the wind from drinking all the beer, the fellow slipped drunkenly from the swim platform while dangling his feet? now wouldn't that beat all. LOL

Yes, pilgrim, you need to remember my vessel was a converted PT boat. The secret is she still had the torpedoes. 'Nuf said.

Actually, having met him in Avalon, he was a nice guy who sank lefties if they were obnoxious.

Time for you to go find a new crystal ball

PS: On the other bits about my "background". Don't bet your rent money. And BTW, sterotypes suck period.

I thought everyone knew UC is actually the online persona created by a 13 year old girl with two prior juvenile convictions for stalking old white guys in boats. She gets her answers to questions from old Sailnet postings and uses these to lure her unsuspecting victims to dockside meet ups to discuss thorny rigging problems.

That is another, and fairly effective, method of removal from the gene pool. It qualifies.

Yes, great guy from all accounts. He owned the property and donated it in his estate to the City of Sequim. Wild Goose was a frequent visitor here, I was a huge John Wayne fan as a kid, getting to see the goose was like a dream to a boy back then.. Ya, so it's a nice little marina, mostly older sailboats, a few high end, a good amount of big power boats, and the James Town Indians have a small commercial operation inside the marina also. Funny how some folks equate this marina with snobs and the lot. Nothing could be further from the truth. A few are retired veterans on fixed income, like myself. Really just the same old bunch of folks that range from many walks in life you find in any marina anywhere. Ya, I dig the fact that my home port is John Wayne Marina, kind of cool, but the reason I chose this marina is the it's 3.5 miles from my daughter and grandchildren.

She'd almost be a "PT boat". Port Townsend, PT as it's called by locals, being the next town over & only 30 miles away
