7 day forecast anywhere is funny. We're happy if they get it right, or close to right, for the 24 hours we're working in.

PassageWeather, BOM and real life.

About a week ago I took the liberty of comparing the PassageWeather predictions with Australian Bureau of Meteorology predictions. I looked at seven days forward for both.

They were very similar. South east winds (unusual for Sydney). This brought a week of rain.

In real life they matched actual weather until it all improved (this morning, after seven days) about 12 hours earlier than forecast.

I would expect that forecasts near major cities would the most accurate.
