A Family Of Six At Sea

The title says it all, they just like to share their experience about how you can live aboard a 36' (on deck) ferro-cement boat for almost 2 years with children age 4, 9, 12 and 13 and then cross the Atlantic. And sailing with children is very rewarding. Brigitte and Werner Gysi, the parents had no experience in off-shore sailing but wanted to live their dreams. The story is a great read and very inspiring, because the children reflect on their memoirs as well as reveal some of their journal entries. There is very good information shared about how to prepare for an off-shore cruise and how to predict weather. You find it in any Chapters store or online.

Mods, is this not an advertisement? Just wondering what the policy is on self-penned cruising memoirs.
