A DIVE Survey?

Long story short, likely changing insurance companies to get expanded cruising grounds. We had a insurance survey in April 2015, and an audiogage (Steel hull) in December 2016. (They “forgot” in 2015.)

The broker tells us the new company is supposedly asking for an inwater insurance survey and a “dive” survey.

What the heck is a dive survey, what could they possibly inspect? We just launched Thursday with the assurance no out of water survey was needed.

So now it looks like I’ll be scrambling to find a insurance surveyor and a “dive” surveyor in the Palm Beach area.

Never heard of it. Maybe a GoPro view of the bottom???? At least the water is warm Palm Beach
