I had a talk with the higher ups over there, and it appears the exorbitant charge was due to a miscommunication internally. The fee has been reduced to the standard state fee.

I believe in even-handed feedback on companies, and could not let the thread progress any further in the current direction, because the mistake was corrected.

That's a plus for them... the ability to correct mistakes.

I am sure it was simply an "honest" mistake that once found, they would have corrected immediately.

Not speaking directly about this company, I find a lot of these "honest" mistakes out there. Does everyone else?


One recent mistake like this I found was with Sprint. I have the high speed EVDO device for my latop, and I keep getting charges for TEXT MESSAGES!! The device isn't even a phone and isn't capable of generating or receiving text messages.
