Thanks for sharing that, coops.

I've never done any arctic sailing, but watching the video has me wondering about floating ice. I'd be afraid of striking some larger pieces. What do you arctic sailor do in the presence of a lot of floating ice?

What a coincidence, I watched that yesterday too. Just happen to be from just outside Corner Brook, Newfoundland and always interesting to see it from an visitors point of view. The shots in the video after leaving Coner Brook were my old stomping and fishing grounds.

Go slow, or have a steel boat. That stuff can hole you.

That was one cool video.

As an aside, the translation from German to English was spot on.

Anyone notice that each log entry appeared to be made on a new page, with nothing on the opposing page?
