WiFi Hotspots on Roatan?
Anyone know of WiFi Hot Spots on Roatan, Honduras?

We are headed there this weekend for 3 weeks and I am debating installing a WiFi antenna amplifier system on the boat and want to know if it will be worth the work and money.

We will be hoping all over the place around the Bay Islands.

LAS ROCAS RESORT (Hotel), Roatan, Honduras is reported to be a hotspot.

Wi-FiHotSpotList.com, a directory of public hot spots for finding Wi-Fi wireless Internet access network nodes is one that you can search...didn't see any listings for Honduras however.

Well we are here! On the hooks in French Cay, Roatan, Honduras.

I am at Fantasy Island Scuba Resort. Free WiFi and the bar is not too bad. The WiFi could be faster, can only load one page at a time, but the price is right.

I am told to Coco Scuba Resort next store also has free WiFi.

Local word is you can buy a broad band card for $200 and get internet around all the bay islands for $19 a week. Hell, I pay $60 for my Sprint air card in SWFL, everything here is cheaper it seams.
