What's up in the Bahamas?

It was a beautiful day on the bay today, nice wind, no other boats. but when I came in my neighbor and I began chatting and he mentioned that there was a lot of unrest in the Bahamas right now. A quick review of the news found nothing other than the normal developer vs. the to be developed conflict. Anyone know what is up?

There is some growing resentment about Hatian immigrants, many illegal. Maybe that is what he heard. Listening to local talk shows, there are many callers ranting about it.
