Waiting to Cross to Bahamas

It is Christmas Eve and we are in Lake Worth waiting for a weather window. Anyone else here? Lets share weather thoughts.

Looks like Tuesday is going to be perfect for crossing.

Anchored off South Beach. Stayed here for Christmas, did the turkey thing. Two more days here and then we'll move down to Key Biscayne, fuel and water up and take the next window across. The weather is warmer than usual so we're not really in a hurry to cross this year. We'll head for Nassau when we go. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.

Hello Vasco, We left 6am Christmas morning from Ft Worth Inlet arriving 4:15 in West End. Rough for the first few hours then got better then got Very nice around Noon.

Thanks CSY Man for giving me the nudge. It was a great crossing. The New marina here (Old Bahama Bay) is first class.

Tried to cross last week but turned back after 3 hours. You really need to pick your day and if you think it might be ok then wait longer.
