Thanks for starting this thread Atol. I'll follow along as we will be crossing in December and I learn som things by watching videos. Palarran made it from Morocco to Lanzarote this afternoon. We had a pretty decent sail and I posted a few videos. These are by no means edited - they are just for friends and family.

My crew does plan on blogging on the trip and then doing a compilation video at the end so we an watch it in our elder years. No concerns for money or fame from us though.

Whatever happened to that couple with the little girl , kind of like " a life nomadic " but English , just bought a ( I think ) Comanche and we're doing it up , their last ( 3rd ) vid was titled " can we afford this catamaran " , let's hope they could !! Maybe just too busy " doing it " and don't have time to post videos .

thanks for sharing,i hope you enjoy lanzarote,i have visited arracife and playa blanca many times,if you get a chance isla graciosa in the north is a popular spot

hopefully we will get a few more CF posters adding content as the season progresses.

anchorage,harbour entrance and landfall video content would also be very useful for those making the trip,though not always easy unless you have a dedicated static gopro,or the like set up on the back of the boat.

this would be useful for those compiling videos as it will create plenty of footage that can be edited into,and added to the closeup handycam footage,later

i guess they must have been crossing the pacific for the last year with not very good or expensive internet connections.

they must have arrived in NZ or AUZ and started uploading the new content from last year

i would like to do a 3rd circumnavigation in her,but currently dealing with the needs of 2 sets of aging parents with mobility issues,and kids who are almost independent,plus sell my other 2 yachts and move onboard the snowgoose...

done the atlantic crossing 7 times already so not really a challange,whereas leaving the UK ATM might be a far bigger one

Faro and the guardiana may be an option in the next year or so with good connections to the uk and hungary where the respective parents live
