Turks & Caicos in April

Thinking of sailing bareboat in Turks & Caicos in early April. Is this a good choice? Have sailed BVI several times and loved it. 10 total traveling and 4 of which are kids (8-11 yrs old). Trying to find a place to rent a catamaran and possible itinerary. Anything we must do with kids? How are the anchorages/moorings in Turks compared to BVI? All are active and like to explore. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Problem #1 might be finding a boat to charter?


We came through there in May 2014 and only saw about six boats in total, none of which appeared to be charter vessels.


As for things to do/see and secure anchorages, if you're looking for a change from the BVIs, then you'd be better off in all respects checking out the Bahamas, rather than T&Cs
