Stuck in Panama!

HI

Any suggestions how to proceed our journey from Panama? We´re planning to leave Panama in January or February next year and want to spend time somewhere nice without get in to a hurricane season.

Thanks!

Much depends on which way you want to go.

Re: Stuck in Panama!

You cant really expect a serious answer from the little information you have given. Further, it seems bizzare you need to ask. There must be subtext and as you don't appear forthcoming its over and out from me....

Re: Stuck in Panama!

as can be clearly seen from this year and last year, North Atlantic hurricanes are almost non existent, due in my opinion from the transition to another Little Ice Age

To the OP, are you on the Pacific or Caribbean side?

Re: Stuck in Panama!

I have the answer for either side. If you are on the Carib side, cruise down to the San Blas and up to Bocas. If you are on the other side, cruise down to Ecuador and up to Costa Rica or vice versa. I would not go through the canal just for the fun of it.

Re: Stuck in Panama!

Sorry, we are in Bocas, Caribbean side. Thinking about sailing east to the Caribbean such as the BVIs, Antilles etc but the windward passage and the northerns are a bit of a hassle. Anyone with experience going the "wrong way" from Panama towards Jamaica or other eastern islands?
