Sailboat rent for Atlantic ocean crossing?

I am sending you this message on behalf of a team of 6 elite kitesurfers are going to cross the atlantic ocean in a relay from the canary island to the caribbean (BVI is our priority) in Nov/Des 2013. We are looking for a support yacht for the crossing to charter. We need room for minimum 9 people. (6 kiters, 3 production crew). Crew experienced with kite handling is valued. Boat needs to have a range of 3500 NM, be ocean passage worthy, include a support rib, and have a cruising speed of 8 KTS. Project is most likely going to be a documentary TV production, so a crew need be comfortable with this.

Would have been great to get in contact with someone who can help us with a perfect boat for this project.

i see you have started a new thread,you might be better continuing with your last(same) thread,as it will give a bit of continuity to your postings.

you might also want to in your choice of vessel specify a large rib that can be launched at sea,as recovery of surfers in the water will be a major problem.

i assume you will not be kite surfing after dark,but provision should be made for your surfers to have a light,a gps locator,and 2 way radio.
