Re: Refrigerator Broke, Starving in FL. Help!

I'm curious, what design/manufacturer is your boat? Got any pictures?

Re: Refrigerator Broke, Starving in FL. Help!

Why would an insurance co ask you if the inside is done? I've never had that question asked. Give only info you are asked. They only seem concerned about what power (gas or diesel) and what nav equipt. Heck... maybe it's a racing boat and you don't WANT an interior in it!

I think I would try to find the fuel Dock and then try to enlist some help after they close. Getting a fridge for my truck to the boat will not take that long. And then be on your way

Cocoa has a dock for daytime use. A hand truck and strong help will be needed.

Re: Refrigerator Broke, Starving in FL. Help!

We lived on board for years without a fridge or freezer, why so concerned about this aspect.

This is prime migration season, its unlikely that no marina can fit you and more likely that the marinas are full.

You have an anchor right? A dinghy?

We have a guy here in St. Augustine that will come to your boat and look at your fridge while on the hook.

The real reason for the panic: no "hot chicks" will come to a boat without a fridge...

Re: Refrigerator Broke, Starving in FL. Help!

Marinas don't want half finished boats being worked on at their slips, bothering neighbors.

This!

Or buy block ice to keep in your ice box as many cruisers do.

What's with the rental car? Thought he had a box truck to pick up the hot chicks.

And if that drone is still around, maybe it could lift in a new fridge?
