Recommendations on self-service boat yard in North Carolina?

My partner and I are planning to go offshore in the new year and want to spend a month or so aboard our new boat in NC getting ready. Could anyone recommend a good and well-priced boat yard that is self-service and allows you to live aboard? A friend recommended SailCraft in Oriental.

Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

The Oriental yards are good I've been told. The town caters to cruisers, so I would doubt that they would stick it to you. We stayed at the main town marina for a month a couple summers back. VERY quiet town!!!

Bock marine along the ICW south of Oriental is good but you would probably need a car. The yard has a loaner for short trips to town, 1 hour max.
