No. There were just some big waves for a couple of days.

And puerto Rico is better then nanny cay/spanishtown or independant boat yard

Our 47' mono, is on the hard at Puerto del Rey marina while we are home for a few months. We keep her at Sunbay Marina in Fajardo while we outfitted her last fall and winter, it is smaller, cheaper, clean and has great security. The price includes water, power, wifi, and cable TV and is about half the price of Puerto del Rey (also a very nice marina).

Did you ave the boat there during hurricane season? We ave a 40 ' Catalina ..... Looks like a very good marina.... Have you spend time at the south end of Puerto Rico.... Is it nice... Ant good advice

We have not been done to the south coast, but I hear I it is really nice.

We moved our boat from the BVIs to Puerto Rico last September, so technically we were there durning hurricane season. Rafael gave us a brush by, but never amounted to much. We were in the water at Sunbay, took down the canvas, secured everything we could and doubled up the lines.

This hurricane season we will be on the hard for the month of June. We will sail out of Puerto Rico July 1st, island hopping down island with plans to arrive in Grenada around August 15th.

We have paper charts. We also have Navtronics charts on our chartplotter. As well as, Navtronics on my iPad.

We have found them all to be very good.

On the hard from July 31st-October 31st......don't even know when sandy was

What paper charts do you use, are any better than others... I have iPad, ray marine and garmin, but like paper charts also

I have a Bristol 29.9 which stays in the water at Palmas Del Mar Yacht Club in Humaco, PR. We had good luck last Hurricane season and hope for the same this year. The Marina Staff a fantastic and Palmas Del Mar is a very nice community. Worth taking a look at. To the second question about Charts, I use Garmin Blue Charts and they have been spot on.
