New Marina Just Opened Between Cartagena and Barranquilla

Does anyone know the website of the new Marina that opened recently on the Colombian Coast? Has a development of homes or condos I heard.
I would like to know where it is and how to contact them. Or just the name or city. Thanks

en.marinapuertovelero.co Stayed here in November 2012 - still under construction then. Going to be a VERY upscale development.

Re: New Marina Just Opened Between Cartagena and Barranquilla

It's a great location - but they'll need to work out better transportation options to Barranquilla - and they'll need to decide if they want to reach out to transients. THey were very friendly - but we were clearly unexpected and uncommon. They definitely want an international crowd - the woman who worked with us spoke great English - but some kinks to work out, to be sure. And it may be that they want the kind of international crowd that stays at the 5 star hotel and dines at the 5 star restaurant - not the kind that anchors out in the bay and schleps laundry to shore in the dinghy. The showers were divine.

I know this is an ancient thread, Jedi, but since I ran across it, I thought someone else might too - and might want an update. It's all about Making A Contribution, right?

It's great that you posted this

When we were there, there was just some hippy surf/sail school with Pink Floyd music playing etc. and we loved it!
