: New stimulating immigration rules
The Dutch ABC Islands are a viable hurricane
Curacao: New stimulating immigration rules
Since 10/10/2010 when Curacao got a new constitutional status as an independent country within the Kingdom of Holland
, immigration rules for visitors were restricted to 90 days per calendar year.
Now after a long lobby it has officially been published in the CURAÇAOSCHE COURANT that owners and crew for yachts with a minimum length of 33 feet automatically get a 180 days (6 Months) visa.
Which means that Curacao, within the chain of the Dutch ABC islands, again is an interesting hurricane
for the so called “Long Term Cruisers”.
Leaving a yacht for storage
in Curacao has no time limit as long the yacht is stored at one of the three by customs
companies, which are: Curacao Marine
, Royal Marine
Curacao and Seru Boca Marina.
