If you don't know, why did you post? To complain about the police doing their job? Should the police just hang around the station eating donuts? Or perhaps they should go after "real criminals" and not enforce laws you don't agree with.
Maybe if you read the OP comments, you perhaps would understand/comprehend the OP curiosity (comment) why the PO PO would tag a seemly decent condition boat as opposed to one that was an eye sore. Possibly you are not that swift ;-)

Ron can be a troll but he is harmless but I only take half what he says seriously.

Do I dislike the police, yes I do. Are they all bad? since I have never seen a good cop point out a finger at a bad cop, then I think they all are bad?

The government wants what little he has left, just to put him out like a cigarette butt on the pavement.

I think the exclamation of MotherF*&%er! Also was a clear indication of a citation!

Perhaps the officer wasn't looking for "derelict boats". Perhaps the citation was for something else. The OP has made an invalid assumption and has posted based on that invalid assumption.

As I read it he doesn't know what the citation was for? It seems it could have been for failure to pay child support?

Re: Marathon / Derelict Boats

After careful consideration ... something is awry with this thread. I don't know anyone that used profanity towards any LEO and walked free !! I have personal experience with this ... you will be cuffed and you will spend a night in jail. And then you have to go to court. My case was thrown out as it happened during an inclement weather event. With that said ... I certainly would not want to repeat the experience.

I hate this becoming a political thread. What the hell have cops ever done to you. I've been stopped several time . Yep I got 3 speeding ticket and three for an expired inspection sticker and one that should have been a DUI. All I ever got was the speeding tickets, which I deserved. A yes sir and no sir goes a long way. These guys just want to make a living.

I'm sure there was more to his ticketing one and not the other boat. Do we want to make it such a shitty job no one but the dregs of society will take it?
