Re: Looking For Caravaners

We are leaving Hollywood around the 13th. I usually head straight Nassau then Exumas, rum cay, Turks and Caicos. From there to luperon, DR. May go on to PR or points south from there.

Re: Looking For Caravaners

Keith & Bob...... I've been delayed getting a new sail in Sarasota, FL. Looks like I maybe closer to the endish of November.... still have to sail to the keys from Sarasota... then on to the Miami area. Just for those wondering, I have a 27ft Catalac Catamaran and routinely go about 4-6 knots with motors only

Re: Looking For Caravaners

We are currently in the Abacos. Plan on Christmas in Georgetown then on to the VI via T and C, DR and PR. We are a powerboat but planned cruise speed will be a modest 6.4 kts. Happy to caravan with anyone with similar plans. www.pilotsdiscretion.com

Re: Looking For Caravaners

We are still in Mobile,Al. Weather turned crappy. Here, awaiting better sailing weather. Thought about stopping at Ft. Meyers for a couple weeks, Marathon a few days and wanting to check out Islamorada? if possible. Thinking about early Jan. Now for us. If this works, let us know. We have a S-2 30' sailing about 5-6 hopefully, best case.

Re: Looking For Caravaners

Bobncamie, let me know when u get down here. We were thinking of leaving from Rodriquez Key, which is off Taviner, and going to Bimini. Which is going with the flow of the Gulfstream, so we should make good time. Think it's about 70 miles. Hope to meet you guys soon. Cris & Judy
