Leaving a Boat in the USVI

Hey all,

We are currently cruising in the Caribbean and will need to take a trip unexpectedly to visit family. Does anyone know a safe place in USVI where we can safely leave the boat on a mooring or anchorage for about two weeks?

Would it be better for us to be looking in PR or BVI?

I would consider Penn's Landing at East End Tortola just a short distance from the Beef Island Airport. You can contact them at 284-495-1134. Moorings are limited and so are slips if that is what you want. However for short term they will probably be able to work something out for you.

I'm often there as it is my "home" port in the BVI when I'm not out and about sailing.
