Hopping Outside of the ICW

Having made the trip down the ICW from Brunswick Georgia to Miami on our way to the BVI, I offer the following advice. First have a GREAT cell phone with you that can tether to you computer. Google can be your best crew member. Second, get a membership with Sea Tow. Call ahead to the local office and they can give you the best CURRENT local knowledge. Third, go outside around Brunswick Georgia. You can't get through at low tide. Fourth, relax and enjoy the trip. Sail when you can and don't press it.
