Hogsty Reef, Bahamas

We had to sail by Hogsty Reef without stopping the last time because of the weather; however we would love to return and anchor there this winter. Can anyone share their experiences of spending any time at Hogsty?
Has anyone seen flamingoes in the Crooked and Acklins islands or taken the tour at Great Inagua to see the birds? We hit poor weather when we were in the area and had to leave before getting a chance to do much sight seeing.
