You can get picked up touch and go on the dock at any of the marinas on the South side of the creek at Little Creek. Depending on flights you can save time and often money. I've single-handed Annapolis - Norfolk (20 - 22 hours) a few times and picked up the entire crew there before pushing offshore. I stop for fuel and water anyway. You need a skipper willing to be flexible and sometimes even with local transportation BWI is cheaper.
