Grenada to Ft. Lauderdale

Anyone know approx how long it would take to sail from Grenada to Fort Lauderdale on a 58' Catamaran?

How long is your piece of string?
Measure the string (inches) & multiply by 6 (24 Hour days) = estimated trip time.
The latitude and longitude of Grenada is about 12N x 62 W.
The latitude and longitude of Fort Lauderdale is about 26N x 80W

Without sounding like a total moron....whats a "string"? Ive been asked if I want to sail back with my brother in law and his friend as he brings his Cat back from Grenada and wanted a general idea of how long it takes.

Im interested in sailing and thought it would be great experience, but am clueless so I have no idea how long it takes.

Im guessing 10-12 days?

I don't know.
I will go in your place though.

A guess of 10 to 12 days might be OK as long as you don't stop any place. This is a trip that is at least 1500 nm and that is a direct route that you can't come close to sailing os the real miles are more. Weather being what it is may add many days to the trip. Any time not under sail will need to be added to the length of the trip. If you need to be back by a date certain I would check out plane tickets from assorted stops along the route.
