Galveston to Belize

Anybody done the trip? Looking for advice, routes, best time of year, or just plain old "sea stories". Thanks in advance.

Looks like that was a great trip. If you know where there are some used charts for sale I would be interested in those from Galveston to Belize. Thanks, Dave
