FYI: Yacht Resto at Nanny Cay out of business

Just found out yesterday that the in house repair shop,Yacht Restoration, at Nanny Cay went out of business. Not sure exactly when this happened but we just found out.

We were having them do some work for us and right after we gave them our deposit they took the money and ran. The work hasn't been finished and the money is gone. So, trying to get anything done at this point is not going to happen, apparently the owner is now in a different country.

If you have or know anyone who has a boat there and was getting work done there you might want to check in.

Apparently the owner was there one day and gone the next, if anyone has any info on this situation please pm me.

Tom

I was surprised as well to see that the Chadlery had expanded into what used to be Yacht Restorations. I've dealt with Jean-Claude in the past and am surprised that he'd just up and leave! But they closed up shop in November, if I recall correctly. When did you negotiate the deposit?
