Not sure about Haiti, but looking forward to studying the DR (ed. 4) one. Thanks Gord.

I've actually spent a fair amount of time at Port Morgan on Ile-a-vache in Haiti and it is a pretty nice place. It would be a good spot to spend some time on a boat. Some of the other areas I've been to in Haiti, not so much. However, the people there have always nice to me. Thanks for the info Gord.

These are of special interest to those wanting to sail from south Florida to the eastern Caribbean. For me, the author's suggestions are the sensible way to go. ...Jim http://www.JARogers.com/headlines.htm

Gee, I paid $1.99 each for those cruising guides at the Kindle Store. Now I feed ripped off!

Actually, the idea of electronic cruising guides is a good one--they should cost less and take up less room than the paper versions. If the Kindle or equivalent formats can't be easily copied, then more authors should be convinced to release their material in this medium.

You can upload PDFs to your kindle from your computer. OK - they are not as flexible as kindle format but it works for me!
