First Cat Charter

Family of 8 looking to charter a Cat for the first time in the Caribbean. We have some experience sailing a Hunter 38 mono in the Vancouver area. Just day sails, so no overnight experience.

What locations and charter companies would you recommend for a February sail. Kids will be joining us on this trip, so we want a fun experience with easy beach access.

BVI is a good first time charter destination. Eyeball navigation, few navigation hazards, lots of moorings, consistent wind, generally benign weather, very charter oriented venue with related support (provisioning, moorings, lots of bar/resturant options...), small area so charter base support is not typically far away. Rather crowded as a result though.
