Experience with Curacao Marine - Shipyard in Curacao

My boat is actually dry docked in Curacao Marine shipyard.
I will cross the Atlantic back to Med next May.
I need to replace the rod rigging and I need bottom painting.
I'm thinking to other "cosmetic" work as well as painting with AWL and teack's recaulcking...
I heard divergent opinions about this shipyard and would really appreciate past sailor's experiences.
Thanks

Re: Experience with "Curacao Marine - Shipyard in Curacao ABC

We have just left the yard and we thought that the yard, it's managers and workers were excellent.

High quality work, done on time at a reasonable price. We had bottom job, glass work, new cutlass bearings and rigging work done.

Only problems were getting the A/C fixed, we got an off-site commercial outfit and the on-site fabricator was poor with cosmetic work so we had the important mast fittings fabricated off-site.

I would be extremely careful of any dealings with Curacao Marine, there are a lot of dissatisfied cruisers. Try googling curacaomarine(dot)blogspot(dot)com for a start, there are more blogs to follow so keep an eye on it.
