ESTA VISA

Hi all.
After some research I have discovered that I can enter the US Virgin Islands as a foot passenger on a Ferry or Flight from the British Virgin Islands, then obtain my ESTA travel back to the BVI and enter on my Catamaran for 90 days.
I was wondering what the situation is if I visit another Island at the end of the ESTA non USA and then applied for another ESTA what the situation would be to go back to the USBVI
Would I be able to go back in again? How long would I need to wait etc.
