Dockage - Ft. Myers Area

We will be heading down to Florida in early November and need an inexpensive place to keep the boat for the winter. We need to spend some time aboard off and on while we house hunt. Right now we are in Glades Boat storage and will be there until mid November commissioning. I have tried Craigs list and DockSearch. The marinas are a little pricey and I had good luck finding a private slip using a local waterfront paper in Ft Lauderdale. Is there some similar resource in the SW Florida area? Any other ideas?

Thanks for the tip. Moss didn't show up in my Ft. Myers marina search. I'll check them out.

There are sailboat properties all over the area around Charlotte Harbor and Ft. Myers but the greatest concentration would be found in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda which is 20 miles north of Fort Myers. We have a home in Port Charlotte and many of the homes in the area advertise tie ups with signs in their yards. You could look in the local newspapers and my guess is that you would find something in front of someone's canal home for very cheap.
