We came to Deltaville, VA on the tip of another cruiser and are surprised it is not talked about more.
It's a town of 1000 on the Chesapeake with about a dozen boatyards
, a big West Marine
, several canvas
shops and sailmakers, boat supply consignment store. Must be one of the boatiest small towns we have stopped in so far. Great place to get some work done on the boat. Prices are reasonable and the town goes out of its way to accommodate boaters.
We are on the hard
at Chesapeake Boat Works (Fisherman's Bay). Good people. As the manager says "We sell work.".
