Current Caribbean 3G services?

HI All
We are sitting in Las Palmas, Gran Canary waiting on weather to cross to the Caribbean. It has been many-many years since we were last in the Caribbean.

MY question is what is the latest info/status of cellular 3G internet for the Caribbean Island chain. I did a couple of Forum searches but the info seemed to all be prior to 2011.. I did a WEB search and see the LIME service. What is the current situation and are there alternates.

We plan to arrive Saint Lucia and head north. We have become very spoiled with 3G networks in the MED.
