Cruising from SW FL to Cancun

Hi, I am considering cruising my 31Mainship Sedan Bridge powered by twin 350 cu inch (total hp 600) gas engines from the 10,000 Island Area of SW Fl to Cancun Mexico. What is the best route to take?
Are there marinas in Western Cuba that have and sell gasoline?
What is the best time of year to go?
What custom requirements will I need to stop at Cuba?
What custom requirements will I need to enter Mexican waters?
What customs requirements will I need to cruise into other Central American countries' waters, such as Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, & Panama?
