Check in Procedures for Isla Mujeres 2016

British flag vessel.

Thinking of heading up to Isla Mujeres Mexico soon and staying for a few weeks then head back south again but we have not been there for a few years.

Can anyone who has been there recently tell me what the check in procedures are these days?

i.e.

Who you have to see and which order
Is an agent required/necessary ?
How much it costs and what paper work is required

Thanks

Re: Check in Procedures for Isla Mujeres 2016

If you are going to anchor out, you can do everything yourself. The 2 main cruiser marinas will do it for you if you want but it still requires a trip on the ferry to Cancun for your TIP at the bank. The rest of the check in officials are right in downtown Isla.
